Weird lunch today to cap off a strange and tiring week. Sakai-city must have been hosting an international sumo meeting; there were massive gentlemen speaking in European tongues I couldn't place, not speaking much Japanese that I could see, and looking largely bewildered. None of them have been around before; I'd have noticed 2 meter tall people who weigh 150kg and... they just sorta wander.

Remember the strange convention-goers that would show up at the lodge in Twin Peaks? It felt like that.
