Experts Say MySpace Suicide Indictment Sets 'Scary' Legal Precedent:
In their eagerness to visit justice on a 49-year-old woman involved in the Megan Meier MySpace suicide tragedy, federal prosecutors in Los Angeles are resorting to a novel and dangerous interpretation of a decades-old computer crime law -- potentially making a felon out of anybody who violates the terms of service of any website, experts say.

It dawns on me that I'm playing too many games lately, particularly Rock Band and GTA IV: I just remembered that the other night I had a dream that I was running around a big, NY-like city, and I had to play various notes on buttons stashed in various locales throughout the streets. When I realized the gameplay didn't make any sense, I woke up.

Incidentally, Rock Band has a fucking great sense of humor in its matchmaking for multiplayer: the first time I ever tried Quickmatch it stuck me in a group of Expert players attempting a run at Green Grass and High Tides, a monstrous, nine minute plus song with frantic formatting so far beyond me that it was not funny. Not to me, not to the other players... But I had the distinct impression that the game was laughing its ass off at me.
