Yeah, I may have mentioned that when I was debating purchasing a US Xbox over a Japanese one, the thing that pushed me over the edge was the announcement that rentals would be supported through it. "HD movie rentals in Japan!? Sign me UP!" -- and then 4 or 5 weeks after it launched, they began IP address blocking all movies, TV, trailers, music from being purchased through them. Even items I've legitimately purchased were incompatible after my E74 repair, and are not re-download-able from my current location. Lame.
