yeah, i posted a few thoughts on it already.

six apart was terrible, but nobody trusts russians. with i think good reason. industry has a tendency towards the corrupt there, and so does politics.

SUP, the company that bought LJ, has been running it in russia and captured 45% of the total russian blog market with it. but there are rumors that they did so to help silence political dissidence. great! i have no idea how reliable these rumors are, but putin sucks, so i'm tempted to believe anything.
