Thanks! Yeah, it's funny, but Maher kinda grates on me most days. There's unintentional irony in him dealing with elitism; I get the impression that he'd be the guy at a party who would never let go of a topic of conversation until everyone shut up or admitted he is right. Of course, that could just be his TV personality, up on display...

yeah, but at the same time, i think he's extremely honest about who he is. i mean, when it comes to elite, who's more elite than george w bush? that's what has sickened me for years.

What gets me about Bush and his crew is that they're clearly feeling entitled to the political and financial, success they have enjoyed even though they've clearly been operating at the fringe of the law or beyond it. I suspect beyond it, and I hope that there are investigations going on right now which will culminate in prison time for them, but am not expecting it to happen.

Entitlement is really what gets me about them. I really get pissed off at people who assume their own entitlement at the expense of another's. Maher doesn't have that vibe.
