This entire thing stinks. To be honest, it would be bad if a lot of these financial institutions went under, but the nature of capitalism is that profit abhors a vacuum. We should all take greater comfort in the fact that any number of other fat cats will step into the considerable void to start the cycle all over again with different names and logos.
Corporate bailouts make Baby Jesus cry. However, so does multi-year recession. For that matter, Bush Administration market deregulation makes Baby Jesus cry, because he knows that's what started this mess. He cries a lot.
Personally, I like to picture Jesus in a tuxedo T-Shirt because it says I want to be formal, but I'm here to party.
I like to think of Jesus like with giant eagles wings, and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an angel band and I'm in the front row and I'm hammered drunk!
