As always, this reminds me of a story: There was a small remodeling supply store in Tokyo near where I used to live that had a sign that said "今田リフオーム" (except here picture a small 「フ」instead of a small 「オ」, obviously I can't write it with a normal keyboard).
Obviously the sign painter wasn't the most literate of folk. Used to drive my wife nuts whenever we'd pass it.
