One of you kind folks was recently mentioning an album cover art finding utility which worked well with unusual albums. I thought I bookmarked it in delicious at the time, but apparently I experienced BOOKMARK FAIL. I'm using iTunes built-in one with marginal success, and Discogs and Google Images for everything else.

Anyone else got a decent recommendation for cover art finding tools?

Californio - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
The Californios were Spanish-speaking inhabitants of Alta California, first a part of New Spain, later of Mexico. This area was later annexed in 1848 by the United States following the Mexican-American War.

Californios included both the descendants of European settlers from Spain and Mexico, and also included other European settlers, Mestizos, and local Native Americans who adopted Spanish culture and converted to Christianity. Some white Americans (Yankees), who settled in California, spoke Spanish, and lived as Mexicans, are also considered Californios.

At first, Spanish and later Mexican officials encouraged people from the northern and western provinces of Mexico—as well as people from other parts of Latin America, most notably Peru and Chile—to settle in California. The United States government did not continue this practice.

Much of Californio society lived at or near the many Missions, which were established in the 18th and 19th centuries. There were 21 Missions under the Roman Catholic church along the fabled route, El Camino Real.

Some Americans became honorary Californios due to their early arrival, marriage to Californios, and their adoption of, and adaptation to, Spanish culture and religion. Some wealthy Californio nobles intermarried with the settlers; thus a few prominent families in California may have Spanish or Mexican ancestors.

Victor Bout - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Viktor Anatolyevich Bout (born January 13, 1967) is a Russian former KGB major and arms dealer [1], nicknamed "the Merchant of Death".[2] According to Lee S. Wolosky, he is "the most powerful player in the trafficking of illegal arms" [1]. He is the subject of a book by that name written by Douglas Farah and Stephen Braun[3] (Bout is not the first to bear the title: it appeared in a premature obituary of Alfred Nobel, which ultimately inspired him to create the Nobel Prizes).

Recent reports suggest Research: Media reports, he is also operating in Iraq using front companies and Cargo Airlifts (Airline Transport, Air West, Aerocom and TransAvia Export). Bout came to officials' attention in the 1990s, when he was accused of supplying arms to rebels in West Africa after a cease-fire agreement had been brokered. At that time he owned or was using many airlines, including Air Cess and Centrafrican, which were later forced to shut down by authorities. He also supplied arms to the deposed regime of Charles Taylor in Liberia.

In May 2006, when 200,000 AK-47 assault rifles allegedly went missing in transit from Bosnia to Iraq, one of Bout's airlines was the carrier.[4] Bout's business partner is Hasan Čengić, the former Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to Slobodna Bosna and Douglas Farah.[5][6]

Yuri Orlov, Nicolas Cage's character in the 2005 film Lord of War is said[7][8][9] to be partially based on Viktor Bout.

Flow (psychology) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
Components of flow
Csikszentmihalyi identifies the following as accompanying an experience of flow:
  1. Clear goals (expectations and rules are discernible and goals are attainable and align appropriately with one's skill set and abilities).
  2. Concentrating and focusing, a high degree of concentration on a limited field (a person engaged in the activity will have the opportunity to focus and to delve deeply into it).
  3. A loss of the feeling of self-consciousness, the merging of action and awareness.
  4. Distorted sense of time, one's subjective experience of time is altered.
  5. Direct and immediate feedback (successes and failures in the course of the activity are apparent, so that behavior can be adjusted as needed).
  6. Balance between ability level and challenge (the activity is neither too easy nor too difficult).
  7. A sense of personal control over the situation or activity.
  8. The activity is intrinsically rewarding, so there is an effortlessness of action.
  9. People become absorbed in their activity, and focus of awareness is narrowed down to the activity itself, action awareness merging (Csikszentmihalyi, 1975. p.72).
Not all are needed for flow to be experienced.

As if the dog-pissing-marking-their-territory "Citation needed" brigade isn't enough of an activity for runaway killjoys, these are now popping up in Wikipedia articles:

Man, seriously, talk about ignoring one's roots. The site is no longer Jenny From the Block.

Print on both sides of the paper (duplex printing) - Word - Microsoft Office Online:
You can also use the following procedure to set up your printer for manual duplex printing:

1. On the File menu, click Print.
2. In the lower-left corner of the Print dialog box, in the Print box, click Odd pages.
3. Click OK.
4. After the odd pages are printed, flip the stack of pages over, and then in the Print dialog box, click Even pages.
5. Click OK.

Note Depending on the printer model, you might have to turn and reorder the pages to print the other side of the stack.
Wicked Cool: Microsoft Word tip: Printing in reverse order:
Depending on how your printer works, there's a good chance that when you print a big document in Word, the pages end up in reverse order (with page 1 at the bottom of the pile). You have to then go through and put all the pages in correct order....big pain!

I'm here to relieve you of that pain! You can reverse the order the pages print. No more fussing when it's done printing!!

Here's how:

1. From the "File" menu, choose "Print"
2. Click the "Options" button at the bottom.
3. Check the "Reverse print order" box.
4. Click "OK".
5. Click "OK" again, and you'll print in reverse order!
Or alternately, on the "Print" dialog box, there's a "Print" pull-down menu just above "Options..." Select print Odd. Then reload the paper, and on the next "Print" dialog, hit "Options..." and reverse printing order of Even pages (or Print in Reverse Order which is also on this "Options..." dialog, probably making it accidentally possible to reverse one's reversal, and cause mucho confusion). Sorry the text may not correspond exactly to US-English versions of MS Word.

Now to see if this works in Adobe Acrobat; I've got a PDF of Zantabulous Zorceror of Zo waiting to be print-on-my-own-immediate-demand.

Our recommendations
Day 1
Avoid light between 11:00 am to 13:30 pm
Seek light between 13:30 pm to 16:00 pm
Day 2
Avoid light between 6:00 am to 8:30 am
Seek light between 8:30 am to 11:00 am

Seeking light
The advisor has suggested the optimum time to expose yourself to light. Light is important because it is one of the primary cues that the body clock uses to maintain it’s link with the outside world.

When it comes to seeking light, any kind of light will do. Daylight is best, but if it’s not available, simply switching on a bedroom light is sufficient to help you minimise the effects of jet lag.

Avoiding light
Avoidance of light at certain times is also an important cue to the body clock to help you recover more swiftly from the effects of crossing time zones.

Avoiding light can be achieved by drawing the blinds or curtains in the room you are in, or wearing an eye mask. If there’s nothing else you can do, then simply wearing dark glasses will help.

Meals and exercise
In addition, adjusting your exercise and main meal times to your new time zone will help to synchronise your body clock sooner.
